Tropical Swirl (abbreviated as TSwirl or TS) is an American rock band formed in Michigan in January 2025. The lineup consist of Spencer on vocals and trumpet, Aidan on rhythm guitar and backing vocals, and Aric on keytar and synthesizers.Because TSwirl is such a small project, they do not have any music out yet. TROPICAL SWIRL IN-DEPTHTropical Swirl is from Saginaw, Michigan. Originally, the band was created as a political project against the Donald Trump administration around the same time as inauguration day.Originally, the band consisted of Spencer, Aidan, and Jack. They had later let Jack go in March 2025, but had later re-welcomed him along with Aric in August. They would later let go of both Aric and Jack just over a month later. In November 2025, they welcomed Kota, who was also only in the band for about a month. During the time they has Kota, they welcomed back Aric.Tropical Swirl is an alternative band. That much may not be obvious to most due to the bright visuals and warm weather promotions. They use the orange hibiscus to represent their band, as the flower symbolizes creativity, enthusiasm, and joy. Obviously, they do not own or trademark the flower, it is just a lovely design choice.Opposing the lighter visuals, the band's music will be much heavier. This is a white belt band, get with the program. The band takes inspiration from bands such as Underoath, Circa Survive, Saosin, April's Love Affair, and Arma Angelus. Their first EP, Band Camp, will feature these less radio-friendly elements.
